Use an Updated Driver
The most common reason for graphics card error is an outdated or poor version of graphics card driver. To update the driver automatically, use the Driver Easy software-
- First, you need to download and install the Driver easy software
- Then hit on the Scan Now button and your PC will automatically detect all driver related errors including the display driver
- Choose the free trial option to avail the benefits of the latest update of the device driver, but for further updates, just click on Update one by one
- Now you have to restart your PC
Now you can try to check if you are able to play the game on your computer.

Run System File Checker
Updating the device driver is the easiest solution to the issue of Hardware Graphics Compatibility Error, but if that does not help, you can apply this method-
- Firstly, you need to click on the Start menu on Windows and then type “cmd” in the search box
- When the command box dialogue pops up, right-click on that and choose Run
- Then Choose Yes and after that, enter sfc/scannow
- This process will scan through files so you have to wait for sometimes till the scanning is completed
- In this step, type in the following commands-
- DISM.exe/Online/Cleanup-image/Scanhealth
- DISM.exe/Online/Cleanup-image/Restorehealth
- Finally, restart your PC and after 10 minutes, try to play the game.
Use Device Manager
If you have a PC with Intel HD Graphics card, you can use this method. First, you need to visit the official website of Intel and update the device driver from there. Always try to proceed with the Graphics Card Driver updated version. Here you will get a set of Zip files; copy and paste those files into this location-<your system root drive>\Windows\Temp. Net, follow the mentioned-below steps-
- You have to click on the Windows start button and type the devmgmt.msc command to open the open the Device Manager.
- From there, visit Display Adapter
- Right-click on device driver and choose Update Driver Software from the drop-down menu that appears next
- Now you have to choose ‘Browse my computer for driver software’ option
- Select Device driver and hit Next
- Search for the option ‘Have disk’ and click on that
- Go to the browse folder and find the unzipped files then visit Graphics subfolder and choose igdlh64.inf
- Click OK and hit Yes and let your PC install the driver
