Once you apply this method, check if the problem is still occurring or not. If it is still causing the problem, there are other methods that you can perform.

Clear Up Google Chrome Caches
Junk files can cause this kind of problems. If you clear up those temporary junk files from your Chrome browser, this problem can be solved.
Navigate to Settings>Show Advanced settings> Clear Browsing data. But if this does not help, you can reset your Chrome browser-
- Navigate to Chrome Menu>Settings>Show Advanced Settings> Reset Settings>Reset and the problem will be solved.

Close All Google Chrome Tasks from the Command Prompt Option

- Firstly, launch Command Prompt on your Windows PC- go to your search option and type CMD
- Run the tasklist command where you will see all the running tasks.
- To kill those tasks, run the taskkill /F /IM Chrome.exe command
- If you are using Windows 10, type TASKKILL /IM Chrome.exe /F

- First, do a right-click on Chrome and open Properties
- On the new pop up page, type ignore-certificate-errors
- Then just click OK
